Why a PINK chef's coat?

Simply put, I carry my Dad's legacy with me through my cookbook, cooking and everyday I am writing my food columns, he is always with me. I carry my Mom with me through a silent reminder of her struggle with breast cancer that took her life, as well as the lives of many other women who have dealt with, and are still dealing with, this horrible affliction. Besides, why not pink? It makes a man look good!

Perfect Peanut Butter Sauce

Simple, extremely delicious and the perfect sauce for that sundae, those banana pancakes, drizzled over filled crepes or simply to dip some freshly cut fruit into.

  • 1/4 cup(s) corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup(s) light or half and half cream
  • 1 tablespoon(s) butter or margarine
  • 1/3 cup(s) creamy or chunky peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup(s) milk

Perfect Peanut Butter Sauce Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, add the corn syrup and cream. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Stir in butter until melted and combined well. Add the peanut butter and stir until the peanut butter has melted and is completely incorporated. Remove from heat and stir in the milk until smooth and creamy. Use hot over.....well, you name it!
